Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vaulterra Custody website, platform, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, joining the student beta, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
This is a general draft template provided for informational purposes and has not been reviewed by legal counsel. It should be adapted to reflect your actual business operations and reviewed by a qualified professional before use.
1. Who We Are
Vaulterra Custody provides AI-driven data analysis tools and copy-trading functionality designed primarily to help students and newcomers approach crypto investing with a structured, risk-aware framework. Vaulterra Custody is a technology provider and does not act as a financial advisor, broker, or asset manager unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate agreement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that your use of the Service complies with all laws applicable to you.
3. Beta Access and Service Availability
The Service, including any "Student Beta" program, is offered on an evolving basis and may include features that are experimental, incomplete, or subject to change without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, uptime, or that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.
4. No Financial Advice
Nothing provided through the Service — including data analysis outputs, signals, strategy summaries, or copy-trading configurations — constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make regarding your funds and investments.
5. Nature of Crypto Assets and Risk
Cryptocurrency and digital asset markets are highly volatile and carry significant risk, including the risk of total loss of capital. Past performance of any strategy, model, or copy-trading configuration is not indicative of future results. You should only commit funds that you can afford to lose and should seek independent advice where appropriate before making investment decisions.
6. Copy-Trading Functionality
Copy-trading features allow automated replication of selected strategies or parameters within the Service. Automated execution may be subject to delays, slippage, technical errors, connectivity issues, or market conditions that affect outcomes differently than intended. Vaulterra Custody does not guarantee that copy-trading outputs will match any reference strategy exactly, nor that any strategy will be profitable.
7. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or suspected security breach. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your account.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or interfere with its operation, using it for unlawful purposes, circumventing access controls, or submitting false or misleading information during registration or use.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, software, design, and materials provided as part of the Service, excluding any third-party data or content you supply, remain the property of Vaulterra Custody or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
10. Fees
Any fees associated with access to paid features, if applicable, will be disclosed at the relevant point of purchase or account setup. We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue fees for future service tiers with reasonable notice.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party platforms, exchanges, or data providers. Vaulterra Custody is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service, and your use of such third-party services may be subject to their own separate terms.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or free from interruption.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vaulterra Custody and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or trading losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of the theory of liability.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vaulterra Custody, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or our business practices. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for suspected violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including disclaimers and limitations of liability, will continue to apply.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vaulterra Custody operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
18. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, please reach out via the contact details provided on our Contact page.
